Wendy Miele

Wendy Miele is a Los Angeles trial attorney with Tauler Smith LLP. Along with the other members of the Tauler Smith litigation team, Ms. Miele represents both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation, including in privacy, business, and commercial matters. Her expertise spans a wide range of practice areas, including class actions, complex business disputes involving alleged fraud and violations of statutes such as CIPA and CDAFA.

Ms. Miele has over 30 years of litigation experience and has prevailed on hundreds of dispositive motions and numerous pleading challenges for her clients. She was previously part of a mortgage litigation team that received awards and acclaim for successfully defending a major bank in California without a single adverse verdict.

Education

Wendy Miele graduated with a B.A. degree from Duke University in 1988 and a J.D. degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1991.

Background

Ms. Miele grew up in the New York/New Jersey area before eventually moving to the other side of the country to start her legal career. She is an accomplished golfer who enjoys playing on California’s beautiful golf courses when she can find the time.
